EDU-SYRIA organized a trip to Jerash and Ajloun on Friday 19th of May 2023 for one hundred Syrian refugee beneficiaries who are expected to graduate at Zarqa University to engage them with the Jordanian heritage. The students headed to Jerash where they visited the Ancient Roman City and were guided by local certified tourist guides who gave information about the history, purpose, and architecture of the city, where they had an exciting tour of the old city and enjoyed the magnificent historical sights. EDU-SYRIA held the Tenth Consortium Management Meeting at Zarqa University on 06th of April 2023. The meeting was attended by EDU-SYRIA management team, the EU representative and the project partners of ZU, DAAD, LTUC, NUFFIC and QRTA. Throughout the meeting, an update on EDU-SYRIA project and the beneficiaries satisfaction survey were presented, in addition to EDU-SYRIA III financial report and payment Request. Moreover, the partners presented the progress and challenges of their actions and their future plans and recommendations for the next quarter. Methods for Irrigation and Agriculture (MIRRA) held a completion ceremony on Wednesday 22nd of March 2023 for Syrian refugee and vulnerable Jordanian beneficiaries who completed the smart agriculture program which aims to introduce the smart and modern technologies that are used in the agriculture sector.
