Mazen Al-Natour was born in Syria in the spring of 2001. In 2012 he moved to Jordan due to the war in Syria and is now a student at Zarqa University under EDU-SYRIA Program funded by EU, studying electrical engineering. An ambitious and loving young man who started his story with volunteer work since 2015. He implemented and participated in many charitable initiatives aimed at community service. Amer was studying for his computer technologies diploma back in Syria when his passion for technology had led him to open a Computer maintenance and supplies store. yet soon after he graduated he was eager to continue learning and study graphics design, and therefore he traveled to Jordan to study. Unfourtently when he was just about to graduate; the war erupted in Syria and he stayed in Jordan, not as a student anymore but as a refugee. Meet Suad!Su’ad is a Syrian bachelor’s graduate, who received a scholarship from EDU-SYRIA program funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis (Madad Fund). She finished her Educational Sciences degree from Zarqa University with an excellent GPA of 92.7%.! After the crisis of COVID 19 hit the region and Jordan in particular, Su’ad started volunteering with Amal Center of the Arab Medical Relief Society-ACAMRS, an active NGO at Al-Zaatari Refugee Camp-Al-Mafraq City. Amer Rida Alazab has received a scholarship from EDU-SYRIA in 2016 to study for a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Zarqa University Growing up, Amer always felt in his heart that he wanted to become a civil engineer.  Sadly, because of the Syrian crisis he was not able to fulfill his dream. Sajedah Bani Irshid is a master student in geology at Yarmouk University who received a scholarship from EDU-JORDAN/EDU-SYRIA in 2016. Last September she started her exchange semester under the Erasmus+ program at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.
