Sajedah Bani Irshid is a master student in geology at Yarmouk University who received a scholarship from EDU-JORDAN/EDU-SYRIA in 2016. Last September she started her exchange semester under the Erasmus+ program at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. We at EDU-Syria send our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. The 24-year-old Syrian student was studying Journalism and Mass Communication at Zarqa University. Like many Syrians, he was forced to leave Syria in 2012 because of the war and went to Egypt. He worked there for 5 years to support his family. On Monday 30 July 2018, EDU-SYRIA participated in the Jordanian Universities Exhibition at Al-Azraq camp organized by RELIFE International, featuring a number of Public and private universities and educational institutions in Jordan, to answer all questions Tawjihi students might have to be fully prepared to start their higher education journey. EDU-SYRIA representatives introduced the visitors to the Scholarship Programme, answered their queries about the admission, and distributed brochures about the programme.
On Tuesday 24th July 2018, EDU-SYRIA participated in the Second Jordanian Universities Exhibition in Al-Za’tari camp organized by RELIFE International, featuring a number of Public and private universities and educational institutions in Jordan. The exhibition was to interact with secondary school students and parents and introduce them to the Jordanian Universities, their Schools and their requirements. EDU-SYRIA representatives introduced the visitors to the Scholarship Programme, answered their queries about the admission, and distributed brochures about the programme.
