A follow-up meeting with EDU-SYRIA beneficiaries of the Vocational Education Scholarship Program (VESP) and Six-Month Labor Market Oriented Course Scholarship Program (LMP) was conducted on Wednesday, 4th January 2023, at LTUC-Amman (EDU-SYRIA corner in the LTUC library). A total of 71 beneficiaries attended the meeting (both physical and online). The Entrepreneurship Training Scholarship Program (ETSP) Coordinator at the EDU-SYRIA/German Jordanian University, Dr. Sameer Al-Dahidi, and the Project Coordinator, Eng. Jordan Start Held a Boot Camp

On Sunday, 4th October 2022, Jordan Start started its Boot Camp activities for 10 days. 28 applicants out of the hundreds received were accepted to the Boot Camp. 18 attended the training where they put their foot on the first step of the entrepreneurial journey. The lean Startup boot camp is an intensive 10 days of business training focused on utilizing the lean methodology in managing and building startups with a minimal amount of time and cost. Amman – During the student recruitment process, which took place during August to September, the EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme, funded by the European Union, finalized the procedures for accepting a new batch of eligible beneficiaries of student teachers in the Teacher Education Professional Diploma for the academic year 2022/2023. The tasks and interviews, which are the requirements of this programme, were done for the Jordanian applicants who are beneficiaries from charitable institutions in the National Aid Fund, Tkiyet Um Ali, Al-Aman Fund, and Zakat Fund. EDU-SYRIA program in cooperation with the Education for Employment (EFE) presents an information session at Zarqa University. On 17 August 2022 the meeting room in the Al-Khwarizmi building received a joint team from EFE and the EDU-SYRIA program and nearly thirty graduates of EDU-SYRIA program at Zarqa University. The trainings and courses offered by EFE to EDU-SYRIA graduates were presented. The students who attended the session were interviewed and guided to the appropriate courses for them, each according to their university specialization.
