Please note the application deadline for EDU-SYRIA scholarship (first round) has now passed, and late applications cannot be accepted. The selection results will be published on EDU-SYRIA website no later than February, 21 2016. The application process and selection criteria for the new round of scholarship applications will be announced by May, 2016.

EDU-SYRIA grants scholarships to Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians to pursue higher education as well as vocational training at Jordanian universities and colleges. It started in 2015 and will continue until 2023. EDU-SYRIA is an educational and humanitarian project funded by the European Union (EU) to provide higher education scholarships to Syrians affected by the conflict and underprivileged Jordanians and to help the host communities in Jordan. EU Delegation visit to Zarqa University

The European Union Delegation to Jordan with German Jordanian University project team members conducted a visit to  Zarqa university (ZU) where they have the chance of meeting with the university management and educational board members and staff and explored  the offered programs. The visitors made a tour to  ZU university facilities and had discussions with some faculty members about the university study programs.
