Yesterday, An editor’s delegation of European newspapers, visited the University of Zarqa, during the meeting they met with the manager of the EDU-SYRIA project, and students who have benefited from the Scholarship through the European Union. The president of Zarqa University Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al Wadi welcomed the delegation, and provided them with an overview of the disciplines and the colleges within the university. Today the EDU-SYRIA II project delegation visited Zarqa University, during this meeting they met with student candidates for admission, totaling 300 students for the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017. EDU-SYRIA conducted the interviews for the second cohort in the scholarship program in Zarqa University. The total number of received applications is 1069 and after a verification and filtering process 150 applicants were interviewed, out of which 46 Syrian were granted an EDU-SYRIA scholarship.
A team from German Jordanian University , Zarka University and UNCHR visited Camp to conducted interviews with candidates who interrupted their studies in Syria. The committee interviewed 21 candidates, 18 were offered conditioned admission given they finish all documents.
