EDU-Syria II Open day at AlQuds College

On Tuesday 31/01/2017, an open day held at Al Quds College to introduce funded programs for Syrian refugees and Jordanians, which runs by the German Jordanian University and funded by the European Union in collaboration with Zarqa University, Jordan University of Science and Technology, and Al Quds College.

The Dean of AlQuds College, Dr. Ayman Maqableh, Provide briefing about Al Quds College and its campuses also about the project objectives and the targeted groups that could benefit from it.

Both Dr. Dhiah Abou-Tair, the project’s manager and Dr. Loay Salhiah from the German-Jordanian University, provided a briefing about the project and the role played by EU in offering the scholarships to Syrian and Jordanian students.

Mr. Job Arts, attaché at the European Union delegation in Amman, clarified the importance of Technical and Vocational Education. He also added that this day would help the students to choose the right specializations with respect to their GPA’s.

Students from Irbid, Mafraq, Jarash, Zarqa and Amman attended this open day, and brochures about the scholarships was given to the students during this day.
