EDU-SYRIA / EDU-JORDAN Distributes 221 Laptops for its Students at Zarqa University

EDU-SYRIA / EDU-JORDAN Programme handed out 221 laptops to its students from Syrian refugees who are studying for Bachelor’s degree at Zarqa University.

Most of the laptops were distributed to students living in refugee camps, where 101 students from Zaatari camps and 26 from Al-Azraq Camp and 17 from Al-Emirati camp received a laptop.

Furthermore, the programme also awarded 77 students, who are the top three students in each major by handing them a laptop too.

This awarding is part of the EDU-SYRIA / EDU-JORDAN programme initiative to support its students during online learning by providing access to their lessons. The initiative will hand out 379 Lenovo laptops, valued at Euro 150,000, to the programmes’ students at Jordan University of Science and technology, Yarmouk University, Mutah University, Zarqa University and Luminus Technical University College.
