I Wanted a Scholarship..I Got Two!
After completing my bachelor’s degree, pursuing a master’s abroad felt like an impossible dream — one that required resources and opportunities far beyond my reach.
The EDU-SYRIA scholarship changed everything. Being accepted in 2016 was a turning point that restored my hope and opened doors I never thought possible. More than financial support, it gave me the confidence to pursue ambitions I had long set aside.
A highlight of my journey was a student exchange at Friedrich-Alexander University in Germany through Erasmus+ in 2017. Traveling alone for the first time was daunting, but it became a lesson in self-discovery — I learned to adapt, grow, and thrive in an unfamiliar environment. The friendships I built and the perspectives I gained expanded my world in ways I hadn’t imagined.
Looking back, I’m filled with pride and gratitude. EDU-SYRIA wasn’t just a scholarship — it was a gateway to a life I had only dared to dream of.
