Seventeenth Consortium Management Meeting at Zarqa University

EDU-SYRIA, an EU-funded project managed by the German Jordanian University (GJU), recently organized its seventeenth consortium management meeting at Zarqa University (ZU) on March 20, 2025. The meeting was attended by the management team of EDU-SYRIA, the representative of the European Union to Jordan, the project partners of Zarqa University, Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the focus of the meeting was cooperation and advancement of the program’s objectives.

The gathering provided an opportunity for productive talks and the next quarter-long strategy planning; where the management team provided a comprehensive overview of EDU-SYRIA’s current status and progress made, surplus allocation, and preparation for the EDU-SYRIA III Closing Ceremony.

It was noted that the purpose of the quarterly meeting is to assess the project’s progress and discuss how the activities are being implemented.

The project manager concluded the discussion by inviting the attendees to attend the Ramadan Iftar, which the EDU-SYRIA project usually hosts at Zarqa University annually.
