EU and EDU-Syria project Visit ZU, YU and JUST

On Monday 27/02/2017, a delegation from EU represented by education and youth cooperation section manager Mr. Job Arts and finance officer, contracts & audit Mr. Oscar Marco, also delegation from EDU- Syria project represented by the director of the project Dr. Dhiah Abou-Tair and Mr. Fawwaz Saqar, visited Zarqa and Yarmouk universities in addition to Jordan University of Science and Technology.

The tour started from Zarqa University, during the visit the delegations met with the CEO and the president of the university to discuss EDU-Syria project and EDU-Syria II contract.

Then they visited Yarmouk University, at the first they met with master students who benefit from EDU-Jordan scholarship to answer their questions and listen to their concerns. After that, they met with the university president and vice presidents to discussed EDU-Syria I contract, students’ survey and future collaboration between the project and the university. Furthermore, they discussed EDU-Jordan ceremony, which intended to be held in April of this year.

The tour finished in Jordan University of Science and Technology, where the delegations met with the president of the university, faculty of graduate studies dean and international relations office manager to discuss EDU-Syria project and EDU-Syria II contract.
