EDU-SYRIA Iftar Banquet, 2 March 2026

Around 200 students gathered for EDU-SYRIA  annual Ramadan Iftar, organized under the patronage of the European Union Ambassador to Jordan.

The evening highlighted the impact of the EU-funded EDU-SYRIA  programme, which has empowered more than 5,000 graduates to pursue higher education and brighter futures with a total investment of €37.6 million and an additional €9 million forthcoming, the European Union continues to champion education as a powerful driver of stability and growth in Jordan and Syria.

Through the collaboration of the German Jordanian University and its partners, Edu- Syria goes beyond scholarships, bridging students to meaningful employment pathways and contributing to long-term prosperity in the region.
