High School Summer Program (HSSP) 2025

EDU-SYRIA, funded by the European Union and managed by the German Jordanian University, is now accepting registrations for the Fourth High School Summer Program (HSSP 2025) for refugee students at Zaatari camp.

In collaboration with UNHCR, EDU-SYRIA will ensure:

1. The program is age-appropriate and safe, with medical services available on-site.
2. All participants meet eligibility criteria.
3. Detailed activity profiles and schedules are provided to the Protection Unit.
4. Written consent is obtained from parents.
5. Students receive necessary permits to leave the camp during the program.

Program Objectives:

1. Help students transition to college life.
2. Encourage continued post-secondary education.
3. Build confidence as future college students.
4. Develop critical thinking and communication skills for academic and career success.

Program Details:

• Duration: July (2 weeks, 3-4 days per week)
• Requirements:
  1. Syrian nationality.
  2. UNHCR Asylum Seeker Certificate.
  3. Ministry of Interior security card.
  4. Residency in Zaatari refugee camp.
  5. Completion of 10th grade (transcript required).

Only 40 seats available; priority given to eligible applicants with higher GPAs.
