Brussels Delegation visited  EDU-SYRIA Project

A high-level delegation from Brussels visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) on Sunday, November 3, 2024, to meet with EDU-SYRIA project’s team members.  The delegation was welcomed by EDU-SYRIA project manager, Dr. Dhiah Abu-Tair and  Queen Rania Teaching Academy  Director of Strategic Development, Mr. Abed Shamlawi, and EDU-SYRIA team, who shared updates on the project’s achievements and future goals.

During the visit, the EDU-SYRIA project manager gave a detailed presentation on the program, emphasizing its main activities, which include providing scholarships, academic assistance, and professional development opportunities for Syrian refugees and underserved Jordanian youth. The visitors emphasized that  EDU-SYRIA Project has made a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in Jordan. Moreover, the delegation also had the chance to meet with several students from the program’s beneficiaries and learn about their personal experiences.
