Belgian Development Agency Visits EDU-SYRIA Project at German Jordanian University

Amman, Jordan – Wednesday, November 6, 2024 – The Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) delegation, led by Country Director Miss Heidi De Pauw, visited the EDU-SYRIA project at the German Jordanian University (GJU) to learn more about the project’s impact and progress in providing educational opportunities for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian youth.

During the visit, Miss De Pauw was welcomed by the EDU-SYRIA management team, who provided an insightful briefing on the project’s objectives, activities, and outcomes.

The Manager of EDU-SYRIA, Dr. Dhiah Abu-Tair briefed Miss De Pauw on the university’s role in the program, highlighting GJU’s commitment to providing high-quality education and a welcoming environment for all students. The management team emphasized the ongoing support for students throughout their academic journey, including career counselling, mentorship, and access to employment opportunities.
