Bachelor Scholarship Program (BSP)

The purpose of this action, implemented by Zarqa University (ZU) and Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), provides Syrian refugee Tawjihi holders with full scholarships to pursue a bachelor’s degree in market-relevant academic areas. Students may enter directly from high school or, where regulations permit, bridge from a two-year technical diploma into a bachelor’s program. This gives vulnerable Syrian youth the opportunity to continue their education and earn a nationally and internationally accredited university degree over a four-year course of study.

Beyond admissions, BSP scholars receive orientation, academic advising, tutoring, digital access, career-readiness support, and a regular stipend, with dropout and transfer procedures in place to keep places filled throughout the program. Labour-market and employer input feeds into an annual review of majors and scholarship distribution, ensuring the program continues to track the disciplines most likely to lead to employment, both in Jordan today and, eventually, in Syria’s future recovery and reconstruction.
