Iftar Banquet for EDU-SYRIA Students

Zarqa, Jordan, On Thursday 23 May 2019, EDU-Syria Project organized an Iftar banquet for 250 students affiliated with the Program.

The Iftar banquet took place at Zarqa University in the presence of the German Jordanian University President Prof. Manar Fayyad, and representatives of the EU Delegation to Jordan. The Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors and the President of Zarqa University also attended the event.

The banquet included a variety of music and cultural activities by the Program’s students.

The Iftar aimed at bringing together students who benefitted from the Project and all those involved in providing educational assistance. It also highlighted the commitment of the EU towards helping Syrian refugees cope with the humanitarian crisis.
